So Long

First off, the “Life” finale kicked all kinds of butt. Sadly, today's viewers appear to be more interested in graphic autopsies than the whodunit aspect. Gonna miss this one if it doesn't come back. Hope the DVD is loaded with extras.

I’ve been really hard on the “Sarah Connor Chronicles” for most of this season, but I actually *liked* the season/series finale. It all seems to make sense -- right now anyway. Also, I think I figured out why little Savannah is an important piece of the puzzle.

I loved the sesaon finale of "Sarah Connor," too. Because it made sense now why they'd 'killed off' BAG last week. I was so happy to see him in the future! A different future, but nonetheless....

You can't leave me hanging with your thoughts on Savannah...if she was that important why would Weaver jump to the future and only tell them to pick her up from gymnastics???

I will be crushed if this show doesn't come back. :-(

I kind of had a hunch that BAG wasn't gone from the show. The producers had played an April Fools joke on TD, SG and BAG and then posted it online.
If BAG had been gone from the show he wouldn't have been there to have the joke played on him.

@KJ,
On second thought, my Savannah theory was probably the result of some sleep deprived reasoning. I thought she would grow up to become Allison Young, but the numbers don't add up.

@opus,
Good point, but I still think the show's a goner.

I sure hope it doesn't get canceled, but I think it probably will be. To me it appeared Fox wanted to be rid of the show the moment they parked it in the time slot of death, Friday night.

Any idea on when Fox will be anouncing it's new fall schedule?

Not sure when they'll announce it...

I can't blame FOX for this one. It's a given that "Ghost Whisperer" is the top show at 8pm, but the "Sarah Connor" finale couldn't pull in more viewers than a *repeat* of "Wife Swap" on ABC.

It's all about the target audience for the show and most of SCC's target audience isn't going to be home on a Friday night that's why I think the show was simply dumped there. It's not like GW and WS have the same demographic as SCC.

As best as I can remember I don't recall even one action or action/scifi show that has succeeded on a Friday night. I could be mistaken of course but the shows that have done well on Fridays have generally been comedies or romances.

On the other hand perhaps I'm a still a little bitter about what Fox did to Firefly and that's affecting my judgement :)

Because they're such a vocal and tech savvy group, we tend to overestimate the number of true sci-fi fans out there. "Sarah Connor's" ratings this season aren't that far off from what shows like "Battlestar" and "Stargate" were pulling on the Sci-Fi channel. I think the majority of Sarah's audience are sci-fi fans, but it's failed to connected with casual viewers.

A lot of networks like to stick sci-fi/fantasy on Fridays... probably based on audience research.
