The Unborn

Hot poster and all, but the primary audience for these flicks are female teens and it hardly looks scary. Might be a turn off.

This is a movie I have to see. Although it's not normally the kind of movie I'd watch it looks pretty good. My favorite kind of movies would have to be the gothic kinds. You can click my name and check out my blog if you want. I'm just getting started so there's not much on it yet. Yours on the other hand is amazing.

Thanks. Your blog is off to a good start. Are you another aspiring screenwriter?

I didn't think "The Unborn" would fare well at the box office, but boy was I wrong. It made 18 million over the weekend -- I'm adding a crabwalking villain with an upside down head to my next screenplay...

No I write alot of poetry though. I do love horror movies werewolf movies would be a favorite. Some of them are so bad. Have you seen Dog soldiers? Corny movie.. This one reminds me of The grudge I think it's the producers. What's the difference between horror and terror? Good luck with that screenplay sounds like it will be cool.

For a low budget film, I thought "Dog Soldiers" was pretty effective. They relied on what you couldn't see to create tension. There was supposed to be a sequel. Don't know what became of it.

Maybe similarities with "The Grudge" is what drew moviegoers to see "The Unborn" in large numbers over the weekend. Audiences seem to love demonic spirits.

Never really thought about the difference. I would say that terror is a state of being overwhelmed by fear, while horror is more a combination of fear and revulsion.
