It definitely wasn't as good as the first...but I would have to say the opposite. I really enjoyed the first 45 minutes. There were a few plot things that had me going...huh? Like when the brother & sister somehow manage to sneak out of the complex. Um, wouldn't they be hypervigilant about making sure no one comes or goes? Also believing that the mom managed to survive and make it all the way back to her house from some country location. But I did think they did a fine job of making some of these characters real...the dad at the beginning with his guilt, the kids, the army sniper guy. They weren't just mindless actors in this film...they had a bit of depth to them.Overall, I did find it enjoyable. I liked the bi-colored eye thing. I would watch a 3rd in the series if/when they make it.
